There can be no Real Madrid match this weekend

Spanish police are considering an option to postpone the upcoming clash between Girona and Real Madrid this Sunday, informs Onda Cero. Authorities are afraid of excesses in the Catalan town due to the expected activation of the legal measures under which the Spanish government would revoke the autonomy of the government in the area as a response to the referendum held there and the claims to secede from the country.

At the same time, however, Real has no worries at this stage and their preparations continue. Bernhard Marca explained that no changes are foreseen around the team`s visit. The champions will travel to Girona on Saturday afternoon - first by plane from the airport in Barcelona and then by bus. The only difference is that the trip will not be marked. The club from 24soccertips claims that this is because their home bus travels to London for the upcoming match against Tottenham in the Champions League, but according to the acquaintances, it is the goal of the vehicle not to be attacked in the Catalonian region.

The `White` will go to Madrid immediately after the end of the match.
