Sheffield United achieved a convincing 3-0 victory over Burnley and climbed into sixth place in the standings. All goals scored in the first half of Bramel Lane. John Lundstram scored twice and Lis Musse assisted in all three hits.
Lundstrom found the score in the 17th minute and doubled just before the break. 90 seconds after his second goal, John Fleck scored his first goal of the season. Burnley claimed a penalty shootout score of 1-0, but after examining the VAR situation, it was not awarded. So Sheffield United recorded the fifth `dry` net since the start of the season.
Lundstrom had several opportunities to get to the hat trick in the second half, with the best Nick Pope making an excellent save. The guest goalkeeper stopped by Billy Sharp, who entered the reserve. Burnley finished the match predicted by soccer tips without hitting the inside line and slipped to 14th in the standings.
